For as long as I can remember, I have felt a deep, unexplainable sense of belonging and comfort when looking up at the moon. In my twenties, I embarked on a journey of deconstructing everything I once believed to be true, redefining my sense of self as a woman in this world. It was a process that often left me feeling lonely and lost. My refuge came in the form of full moon rituals that I began sharing with my sister and friends. Over time, the moon became something almost maternal to me?the one I prayed to, seeking guidance, asking her to help me find myself and my place in the world. Today, I stand in a much safer, grounded place, but I know that the confidence and inner light I have built within me is the very same one I once begged her to help me find. And now, when I look up at her, I am overwhelmed by a deep sense of peace and gratitude, because she and I both know the journey that led me here
